The Old Post Office
The old post office is a art venue in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent.

The objective of the project is to create a fantastic artists space, with a gallery, studio space, workshops as well as a great place to meet. This stunning venue was once a post office and the gallery is situated in an art deco space, oozing with creative character.

Workshops & Master classes

‘The Old Post Office Studios’ intensions, are to deliver programmes of activity that showcase the very best local contemporary arts practice.

The aim is to provide a wide range of participants with the opportunity to look at, talk about & make art, that you will take home.

Through these Master classes & workshops, we at ‘The Old Post Office Studios’ want to develop & encourage new groups & social events around the arts. We aim to reach a wide range of participants & actively engage them in current debates & dialogues, found in contemporary arts.

Spend the day with an Artists:


Lise.B. Moorcroft -Ceramic Artist/Designer (Part of Ceramic history).
Alan Clarke - Ceramic Artist/Designer (Ex Poole Pottery).
Kevin Millwood - Master Potter of Generation Frame.
Sarah Myatt - Dynamic Glass Artist.

The day consists of: Refreshments, Group discussion with the Artist, Demonstration, Workshop commences, Lunch provided by ‘Pie Minister’ Finalize master piece. Then we will make arrangements with you to collect or have your master piece delivered.

Workshops times 10am till 4pm

Available to the general public & artists, group bookings welcome.
